Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026. This explains what personal data WrapiD Solutions collects, why, and the rights you have.
Who we are
WrapiD Solutions ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us about privacy at hello@wrapidsolutions.co.uk.
What we collect
- Contributor applications: the details you enter into our application form, such as your name, contact details, location, skills, availability, work eligibility and CV.
- Enquiries: your name, email and message when you email us or book a call.
- Chat assistant: messages you type into the website chat are sent to our AI provider to produce a reply. They are not kept in your browser after you close or reload the page. Please do not enter sensitive personal data into the chat.
- Performance data: if you become a contributor, assessment results and information about the quality and reliability of your work, used to build your track rating.
- Technical data: basic technical information that your browser sends when you visit, such as IP address and device type.
Why we use it
- To assess your application and contact you about next steps (legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering an agreement, and our legitimate interests in recruiting suitable contributors).
- To provide training, onboarding and placement support if you proceed (performance of an agreement).
- To answer your questions and run our software studio (legitimate interests).
- To keep our website secure and working (legitimate interests).
- To meet legal obligations, such as right to work checks where they apply (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our business, including a form provider (Tally), a database provider (Airtable), email and calendar tools, website hosting, and an AI provider for the chat assistant. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data. If you agree, we may share your profile and track rating with a prospective client company that is looking for contributors; we will not do this without your consent. If we place you with a third party platform, we share only what is needed for that, and you will usually give your details to the platform directly. Some providers are outside the UK, in which case we rely on appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep application data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. We aim to delete unsuccessful applications within 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To use these rights, email hello@wrapidsolutions.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
Our own pages do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Embedded services such as the application form (Tally), the intro video (YouTube, in privacy enhanced mode) and our booking calendar may set their own cookies when you use them.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
